Accommodation letters need to be shared timely and for all courses where the student plans to utilize accommodations. - Students should inform their professors at least one week in advance of the scheduled exam date that they will be using their testing accommodations and have scheduled the exam for the Testing Center.

The Process for working with Students with Testing Accommodations:
- The student will submit their accommodations letter to you. They are encouraged to discuss any concerns with you and you are also encouraged to discuss any of your concerns with them.
- The student will communicate their exam schedule with Katelyn Acree, the Testing Center Coordinator. As the exam approaches, Katelyn will contact you. It is important that you are prompt with sending her your exam (if necessary) and responding to her questions.
- Please coordinate with Katelyn around what to do with your exam after the student has completed it.
The Process for working with Students testing Earlier or Later than their class, without Testing Accommodations
- Work with your student on identifying possible dates and times for the exam. The Testing Center works on a first come, first reserved system and having multiple possible dates may be helpful.
- Contact Katelyn Acree to coordinate the day and time that your student could come and take their exam in the Testing Center. Please note that times MUST be confirmed with Katelyn, or another designated DAS staff member, in order to be official for the Testing Center. You contacting Katelyn first (before the student) will save a confirmation step later in the scheduling process.
- Have your student contact Katelyn to work out details.
